Valerie Sellers

Valerie Sellers graduated with her undergraduate degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration, both from Cornell University. She served in several senior positions over 17 years while at the New Jersey Hospital Association the last being Senior Vice President of Health Planning and Research. Valerie had oversight of issues such as managed care, certificate of need, community health assessment and improvement, emergency preparedness and research, among other areas. She established the NJHA Quality Institute as well as departments of Post-Acute Services and Emergency Preparedness. Valerie now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Association of Community Providers. NJACP represents sixty provider agencies that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through both community and residential services.
