ANCOR Housing Survey Open to all Providers – open until March 13
Please see the information below and NJACP encourages agencies to respond to help inform policy for all providers.
In January 2026, President Trump issued an executive order titled “Stopping Wall Street from Competing with Main Street Homebuyers,” aimed at limiting large institutional investors from purchasing single-family homes that would otherwise be available to individual buyers. While this executive order is not specifically directed at disability service providers, implementation details and future legislative action remain under development, raising questions as to how such policies may impact the availability of housing options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Federal agencies have been directed to begin reviewing andimplementing guidance related to the order, making it important to identify potential impacts now.
To that end, this survey is intended to gather feedback from IDD providers, who offer supports in residential settings, to better understand those impacts and identify any unintended consequences for the people served in such settings.
This survey should take approximately five minutes to complete and will remain open through March 13, 2026. Responses will be aggregated and not attributed to individual organizations without permission.
