NJACP’s 3rd Annual Executive Forum Recap
On November 10, NJACP hosted its 3rd Annual Executive Forum at the Hyatt Regency Princeton, bringing together over 100 attendees for a morning of meaningful discussion, networking, and insight into key industry, policy, and economic issues.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from NJACP CEO Libby Vinson, followed by an engaging bipartisan conversation with Senator Andrew Zwicker (D-16) and Assemblywoman Aura Dunn (R-25), moderated by NJACP Vice President and Legislative & Policy Committee Co-Chair, [Name, CEO of Quality Management Associates]. Topics included legislative priorities, the impact of federal Medicaid funding, affordability in New Jersey, and the importance of sustaining essential services and supports.
Terrence McDonald, Editor of NJ Monitor, joined Diane Hutton Rose, NJACP Treasurer and Executive Director of 21 Plus, to analyze the recent election results, their implications for state policy, and media’s evolving role in shaping public understanding of issues impacting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
The program concluded with a captivating keynote from Stephanie Ruhle, host of The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle on MSNBC. Drawing from her experiences as a journalist, mother, and advocate, Stephanie inspired attendees with stories about empathy, engagement, and the importance of informed conversation—highlighting her personal connection to New Jersey and her insights on dyslexia and inclusion.
NJACP extends heartfelt thanks to its members, speakers, and sponsors for making this year’s Forum a success. The energy, ideas, and collaboration shared throughout the day continue to drive our mission forward in supporting individuals with IDD across New Jersey.
