On September 19, 2025, the New Jersey Association of Community Providers came together to honor the extraordinary work of Direct Support Professionals at the annual Heroes Awards. These individuals are the heart of our community-based system of care, providing daily support, compassion, and advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

From creating safe and supportive environments to empowering independence and dignity, these heroes embody the mission of NJACP.
