Advocacy Center

The New Jersey Association of Community Providers’ Advocacy Center focuses on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Here you will find legislative and regulatory updates, an advocacy toolkit, and resources for taking action.

Representing Providers. Making An Impact on Policy Together.

Located near New Jersey’s State Capital, NJACP is the leading voice for community providers in both Trenton and Washington, D.C. We advocate for policies that improve service delivery, promote best practices, and support the essential work of agencies serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Our dedicated professional staff works year-round with state and federal legislators, executive agencies, and key stakeholders — including the New Jersey Department of Human Services — to champion provider interests and advance the quality of care. Whether in the State House, on Capitol Hill, or within regulatory agencies, NJACP is committed to building systems that empower providers and enrich the lives of the individuals they support.

Our members are at the heart of our advocacy. Through access to exclusive data, research, fact sheets, and policy briefs — and by engaging with thought leaders across the sector — NJACP members help shape our agenda and drive meaningful, lasting change.

As our media presence grows through press coverage, social media, and public outreach, we continue to amplify the voices of our members and increase our impact on public policy. With timely updates, strategic advocacy, and strong representation at every level of government, NJACP ensures our members are informed, supported, and empowered — every step of the way.
